So, I was reading an article about an ex-convict (a thief involved in organized crime who spent time in Federal prison) who got his doctorate in criminal psychology and is now one of the most saught-after experts on the criminal mind.

Um, I'd love to see an AU where instead of becoming a cop, Freddy decides to pursue a career in criminal psychology... and whattaya know, the (in)famous, in-demand, hard-as-nails, ex-con Lawrence Dimick is his new professor.

And god damn it all if he doesn't become hopelessly obsessed...

(Feel free to even include a slight Will Graham/Hannibal Lecter master/apprentice vibe there... without the cannibalism, of course.)

A student/professor AU and a Red Dragon reference? Anon, it's like you and I are the same person. +1 to this

(although while we're on the topic of academia, I'd also love to see an AU with a reversed dynamic between grad student instructor Orange and non-traditional student White).

Oh SWEET JESUS with Freddy as a Cal Lightman type and Larry looking all like Keitel did in his early films with Scorsese (J.R., Charlie...)? I can't.

Both of these scenarios would be incredible. I hope an author tackles one of them!!
