Okay, AU scenario where Larry and Freddy have known each other for years (Freddy isn't a cop, Larry's a reformed ex-con? However you want to do it...) the thing is, Larry fell hopelessly, completely, irrecovably in love with Freddy forever ago. But Freddy has no idea.

Meanwhile, Freddy has always kind of had big old crush on Larry, but it couldn't possibly be romantic because he's just not into dudes (that's what he keeps telling himself, anyway). Besides, Larry's not into dudes, either. All his exes have been women.

Neither man pursues their feelings, both kind of give up hope of anything further happening between them, and are too afraid of ruining the great friendship that they have.

One day, Freddy shows up at the bar, beaming with pride. He's engaged to the girl he's been seeing for the last few months, a relationship that Larry had always been irked but not worried by. He didn't think it was that serious. The news hits him like a train; Larry doesn't know how to react. Now he has to deal with the very harsh reality of his feelings, and losing Freddy in a way he never had him.

Freddy is shocked and hurt by Larry's sudden and cold withdrawal. Will these two clueless assholes get over their emotional constipation and finally admit their feelings?
